Official Butte College Transcripts are free for current K-12 students. To receive/send your free Official Transcript, complete and sign this fillable K-12 Transcript Request form. Save it to your device and email it as an attachment to Butte College at transcripts@mygril-yaoyao.com from your BUTTE COLLEGE STUDENT EMAIL account. Please note: K-12 Official Transcript in the email subject line.

AB1313: Higher education prohibited debt collection practices went into effect January 1, 2020. The Bill prohibits any public or private postsecondary school from refusing to provide a transcript for a current or former student on the grounds the student owes a debt.

Log into Self Service, click the Academics icon (graduation cap) on the far left.  Select the "Unofficial Transcripts" option on the drop down list. Then click onto "Unofficial Transcript." A PDF of your Unofficial Transcript will appear on your device and can then be saved, shared, attached to an email and/or printed for your use.

Approximately 4-5 weeks after the end of the term, students who applied and completed degree requirements will receive an email with a link and instructions on how to claim the digital copy of their diploma. If you do not already have an account with Parchment, you will need to create an account to access the credential. Digital diplomas are secure, shareable, and always accessible online. 

Again, Butte College did not begin issuing digital copies of associate degrees until fall 2024. If you would like a digital copy of a previously awarded degree, you will need to order a digital copy following the instructions below. 

Butte College alumni who earned an associate degree (AA, AS, AA-T, AS-T) can now order a replacement or duplicate copy through Parchment. There is a cost of $15 per diploma.

If you need a duplicate copy of a certificate, follow the instructions below:

1. Certificate of Achievement - contact Amber Brousseau with the Office of Instruction
2. Certificate of Completion - contact the department chair

Information for all academic programs, with the corresponding department chair, can be found on our website under the “Academic Programs” tab accessed from the “Academics” header.

Replacement and duplicate diplomas can be ordered online through Parchment for a fee of $15 per diploma.

Students new to Parchment will need to create an account. If you already have an account with Parchment, simply log in. Once you are logged in, click on the green “Order” button for “Replacement Diploma – Digital and Print” and follow the instructions.

The cost is $15 for each diploma ordered.

There is also an option to add expedited delivery via FedEx for additional fees.

No. You will receive one free diploma for each associates degree awarded. If you need additional copies for whatever reason, you will need to order them online through Parchment for a fee of $15 per diploma.

However, Butte College does not issue diplomas to students with outstanding balances. Any outstanding balance must be paid in full prior to sending a diploma.

Digital diplomas were not automatically issued until fall 2024. If you would like to order a digital copy of a previously awarded degree, you will need to order that through Parchment for a fee of $15.
